New bootleg available today. Finished in one day, it sets a new speed record for the fleet. I’m very happy with the results. It’s the first time I’ve managed to restrain myself to just two songs.
Here’s what happens when you take a country song from ‘61 and smash it up against Finnish producers Pepe Deluxe.
Viper Pilot – Big John Pass Me By
Pepe Deluxe – Everybody Pass Me By vs Jimmy Dean – Big Bad John
Enjoy!

Love it. It’s a fitting union brother for the video mashup of “Shake Hands With Danger.”
Could the entry of the gee-tar at 0:21 be smoothed our or faded in? Something about the first second or two seems off to me, but I don’t have the music vocabulary to communicate what that might be. Regardless, the troops in the trenches will be happy for it.

At the beginning of this effort, I had some misgivings about that very same bit of the song, Chad! But after a few listens it seemed to fit in, so I’ve left it as-is.
Thanks for the feedback, guys. Good to see someone’s listening.

I came here to let you know that Michelle and I have now decided that that bit has grown on us.
Apparently, just as your tactical computer had predicted it would.

I loaded the Shake Hands With Danger video mash into the RommelTac³ system for analisys, and it scored a funk rating off the chart. OFF THE CHART.
Man, I love how talented some people are. Also, I love how good your taste is, Chad.

Happy to know that you liked it. Some of their other videos are worth checking out; the “Most Popular” section is a good place to start.
They’re from Victoria, as well, so they are almost like local Internet celebrities. Hmmm. That sounds more like an insult now that I see it written down.
